Jahah "Let It Breathe" (Official Hip Hop)

For those of you who haven't heard my new project Nostalgia RED. I'd like you to get familiar with the second song on the album entitled "Let It Breathe". I produced and wrote this song after I heard the Human Nature re-mix to the SWV song "Right Here" on the radio. I didn't want to bite the SWV record but I did want to produce something that felt like it so I got in the studio and went to work. The end result is "Let It Breathe" and I feel like I captured the early 90's vibe really well.

Capturing the late 80's and early 90's was my goal when I sat down to produce and record Nostalgia RED. I felt the urge to tap into hip-hop music's past. Sort of  like how Raphael Saadiq is tapping into R&B music's past with his 60's and 70's inspired tracks. I wanted to take it back like Amy Winehouse did...minus the crack!

With that being said, if you yearn for dope beats and honest lyricism, I invite you to download my project Nostalgia RED for FREE! Right here on www.jahahonline.com.

I'm confident (not cocky), that I will not disappoint a true die hard hip hop fan. Yes, I feel that good about this body of work and I know that I'll back it up once you hear the songs. Nostalgia RED will take you back to the places/days you forgot about or often think about and wish you could re-live.

After all, my inspiration to create this album came from my friends, family, and associates that I've had music conversations with. My conversations with these people always ended with, "I miss what music use to be...there's a lot of B.S. out there no-a-days etc". One day I just woke up and said to myself, I'm making an album for my peers. I decided to put the contemporary album I'd just made on hold and create Nostalgia RED. Not for the money...Not for the fame...for the people. NR is truly for you! The listener. The 25 over heads who still care about creative content and fresh beats with different patterns. Do yourself a favor and cop Nostalgia RED right now!
