Sweet Murder by Slim E. Neutron x NOTE

For years I've been friends with a brotha' named C-Note (Darnell Jones) who is a gangsta' rapper and comedian. Note is also a very philosophical cat (whether he believes it or not) with interesting views on people and life. Often times I think he is misunderstood because of his approach but if you read between his lines, the brotha' makes some great points and has some "real" things to say. He just doesn't say things the way society would approve of...if that makes since.

I believe a lot of us are conditioned to think and act the way society says we should think and act. Note often challenges these beliefs and thinks outside the box. Anytime you think outside the box and form your own opinions, you most likely will receive some detractors.

Anyhow, the EP Sweet Murder is fun and gangsta in a light manner. If you have an open mind and just listen to the artistic value of this piece of work...you will see why I laughed my ass off several times! Especially when Note says, "Ghost niggas say oooh". C'mon sun...what's not funny about that?!

"Beautiful" Bump Dinero featuring Jahah

I've been singing and recording chorus's for emcee's/rapper's all over the map (overseas included). The tune above is a song called "Beautiful" which I wrote and sung the hook for. The dope artist/lyricist you'll hear is a brotha' out of Florida named Bump Dinero. I met BD through a mutual lady friend of ours and this song "Beautiful" is our first collaboration (which turned out lovely if you ask me).

Bump has a project coming out very soon and from what I've heard it's going to be very sick (sick meaning good of course).  You can check out Bump Dinero on YouTube at

Urban Mediamakers Film Festival: Best Music Video "1986"

We have done the unthinkable! UMFF has granted my small team Best Music Video for "1986"! This is my faction's first submission into a film festival competing against other film and music video maker's from around the globe. Even though this is an indie film festival (and we are really green in the video and film world), it feels good to receive some real recognition for all of our hard work. Everything you see or hear from my camp is funded by us. No backers or investors...it's all paid for out of our own pockets and we do what we do because we're passionate about music and video. Hopefully one day the world will be able to hear and view what we do and embrace it on a larger scale! For now I'll consider this a small triumph and take a victory lap. After all, I was at the festival and saw a lot of dope videos...who would of thought?

Big up to Tony Reames for directing the video! Big up to Tymm Hoffman for adding his flavor and graphic work to "1986". I'm gonna big up myself for producing the song and adding my creative input to what became "1986" the video. More importantly, I'd like to thank Tony for being open to my creative and quirky ideas and allowing me to add "My 2 Cents" to the videos we make. We have some more tricks up our sleeve that we have yet to release...good things are brewing!

Big to Nsil, Jerome, Omar, Moody, Dana, Nikole, J. Marie, Angelina and everyone else who has been apart of the Jahah video making experience. You are appreciated!

Ghost,

J

David Banner Voicing His Concerns Towards American Culture: Inspiring

This clip right here might be realest and most passionate statement I've heard a contemporary black artist make make in a long time. David Banner I respect your concern and willingness to step up and not be afraid to speak the truth. It's time to make some changes people...that goes for all of us! Forget about the color of your skin man...that's old school thinking.

Jahah x Wii

Today was a long day to say the least. I've been gone all day but one of the upsides of today's adventure's was the fact that I received a Wii for "Free"! Yes, I have a brand new Wii for the "Free-ski". Don't hate...motivate playa!

Big up to my homie Ricky (from NYC) for hooking this up. As they say in France, let the games begin...Wii, Wii!

Gone.

Urban Mediamakers Film Festival x Jahah

Today I hit up the Urban Mediamakers Film Festival in Duluth, Georgia. My video "1986" was selected and showcased at this event for all to see! Above is a picture of my little ass in front of a wall that was designed just for me to take this picture (ha, ha, ha,)!

On a more serious note, it was very cool to see "1986" projected on a movie screen "hella' big" and hear the song banging loud as cocky in the theater! I felt like a capital "g" for about 3 to 4 minutes. Being that this is/was my team's first entry into a film fest'...I was happy with the outcome. More grinding is still very necessary though. No need to get a big head ya' know?

Anyhow, big up to Tony Reames and Tymm Hoffman for making this video possible. Without them this video may not have ever happened or turned out so nice and lovely. Tony Reames you are a beast home-skillet! Get well too (Tony couldn't be there to see his own work).

For those who haven't seen "1986", wait no longer...please partake!

The Dalai Lama (Wisdom)

The above opened me up today. Like my dude James (who put me onto this), it makes me feel empty inside. The statement above (in my opinion) is painfully true and I'm a victim of it. I'm speechless man...

The other night I got on stage and did my "thang-thang" with Big Rec and The 5ive collective at Smith's Ole Bar. I must say that Big Rec and The 5ive killed it and their energy is nuts! I enjoyed being on stage with them and watching the audience go ape shit once we started performing. Definitely good times in the "A"!

Check out Big Rec and The 5ive at www.realhiphopisback.com!

The Good Foot Music x Jahah at The Earl

I was sent some footage of me performing "Soul Music" at The Earl that I thought I'd post and share with the family. I've seen this footage but not from this angle. It kinda takes on a different life for some reason (from this angle that is).

Anyhow, this was a great night because I was performing in front of an underground hip-hop audience that really wasn't there to see me. By the end of my set I felt as if I had made my presents felt though. People in the audience were singing along with me and shouting little things like, "You better sing that thang..."! It always feels good to get the people involved and know that you are being felt!

Please partake! Click that play button...go ahead...what are you waiting for?!
