Rakim x Jahah x Tony Reames x Dickens

It's been a long time since my last post but I vowed to get back into the swing of things and I'm going to hold myself accountable to update this site as much as possible. There are a lot of great things going on in my little world and I would like to share these moments in hopes that I can inspire someone else.
Last year I took a little time off to re-think my approach to blogging, creating music, and being involved in the music industry. I didn't actually stop working, I just stopped doing things the way I'd always been doing them (for so long). I needed some type of change and some new inspiration and motivation. It took me awhile to find my muse but as you can see from the pics above...I've been out and about and finding new energy! I'm a little overwhelmed with work but I'm excited for what's to come in the near future. God is great!

So as you can see, I had the opportunity to interview and meet the one and only god emcee (Rakim). Yep! I've been doing some behinds the scenes work with director Tony Reames and I've been afforded the opportunity to meet many of the artists I idolized growing up in the 90s. It's been quite a roller coaster ride and I'm elated and thankful for all the chances God has provided me throughout the years.

Meeting Rakim and actually having the opportunity to build with him was an honor. I gotta tell, Rakim is a very humble man and he took the time to greet people and sign as many autographs as he could. I was truly amazed by his patience and realness (for lack of better words).

For the young kids out there who idolized the Future's, Young Thugger's, Drakes, and Migos...Rakim is one of the reasons why these cats have the platform they do. He helped pave the way for all of us and pushed Hip Hop to new heights! Do your history and you'll understand why I'm so charged up about meeting one of Hip Hop's living legends.

It's Real!
